TEACHING EXPERIENCE
| 2008 – 2009 | Teaching Assistant – Zoology to students majoring in Biology and General Biology for non-majors at Southwestern College directed by Nira Clark. Collaborated on laboratory curriculum and exam development; taught lecture curriculum during workshops,
assisted in grading assignments and laboratory exams. |
| 2009 | January Guest Instructor - Delivered an interactive lesson on the cell to an audience of fifth grade students at Thurgood Marshall Elementary. A comprehensive workshop was created utilizing computer media, hand-held viewers, and constructed a macro model that involved
student participation and common materials to signify subcellular structures. |
